SITE VISIT
Every project begins with listening – to the client, the site and the community. During our initial site visit we will assess existing conditions, opportunities and constraints and establish a clear design brief for your project.
CONCEPT PLAN
We explore ideas through design iterations including sketches, diagrams and early planning. Our concepts focus on spatial clarity, realistic opportunities and construct-ability. This stage defines the project vision and our moodboards and visual imagery help with communicating this vision.
Community and Stakeholder engagement
When required, we engage with communities through in person workshops, community events and online surveys. We can even meet with significant stakeholders individually to gain a better understanding of their unique needs and wants. This feedback is then fed back into the design, creating a place driven, improving the cohesion of the final concept.
Detailed design and documentation
Once the concept has been approved, we can prepare tender-ready documentation including detailed site plans, technical drawings, specifications and opinion of cost. Our documentation is precise, coordinated and ready for procurement!
Visualisation and presentation
Fox Avenue Studio also produce diagrammatic and render images specific to each project, as required. These visual aides clearly communicate the design intent to clients, councils, the community, stakeholders and constructors.
construction support
Finally we are pleased to offer construction support. During delivery we offer design clarification, respond to contractor queries and ensure the build outcome aligns with the approved design, and applicable codes and standards. This support helps our clients ensure their project is finished professionally, and meets the required compliance outcomes.
